Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally called Andra day is an American R&B artist and singer. Apart from receiving a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she is also nominated as an Academy Award. Andra Day, an accomplished artist and songwriter, with a strong background in blues, gospel and gospel that has a passion for the contemporary world, is more than just an R&B throwback specialist. Her ability to blend the influences of jazz, gospel, and blues into the R&B genre is remarkable. Day eventually reached a deal with a major record label to Warner Bros. DJs started playing it at the radio. Her debut album Cheers to the Autumn (2015) was produced by Adrian Gurvitz. The album was released by Warner Bros. Records. The album included the track Rise Up that became the anthem for protests for social justice around the globe. The album received nominations two times for Grammys. It was also nominated for Best R&B Album. In 2019, she debuted her sophomore record The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album on the life of the legendary jazz vocalist. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biography of Holiday that was released the following year. Andi Mattichak is an American actor. Her first appearance was on TV programs like Orange Is the New Black or Blue Bloods prior to her debut in the horror films Halloween in addition to sequels.
