Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie was the first woman to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and a media star. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie, her parents, as well as her siblings, were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. As a working out enthusiast from at an early age, Annie participated in a variety of school sports and was awarded numerous medals. She participated for the first time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed very well. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years old (as in 2021). She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie began CrossFit training in California in the year 2009. Annie did very well in the initial races and placed in the top 10 out of 70. Although she didn't achieve any title however she was able to finish in eleventh place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. Following that, she was a participant in another CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the games and became the first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having an outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to win the two CrossFit Games. In 2014, she won a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded with a bronze. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and the Sidekick Yorbae.
