Suzy and Aubrey

Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th, 1964. She was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. Suzy is now 58. Her mother's name is Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. She went to Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 alumni of the Pennsylvania's Upper Dublin High School. In 1986, she received the degree of Bachelor of Arts with a telecommunications concentration from the University of Miami. It was during this time that she became a sports director at Dynamic Cable in Coral Gables Florida while she was a first-year college student. The company also hired her by Dynamic Cable for two years from 1984 to 1986. During this period she joined the water skiing team of the University of Miami. When she was a teenager, Plaza participated in performances in the local community theater of her home town Wilmington acting performing improv and directing one-act shows. After high school she moved into New York City where she was a student at the improv class of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and studied film and television production at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated in the year 2006. When she was 20 years old, she had a stroke which caused expressive aphasia (a problem with the expressive and understanding of language).
