Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and writer. Her mom raised her in the USA in a place where she endured many racial taunts that left her feeling like a non-person. In the 9th grade, she felt more secure after being praised by her teachers when she sang at the school's audition. The singer not only gained confidence because of the experience, but she also changed plans for her career. In 1992 she graduated with her degree from New York's Julliard School. The recognition grew even more when she appeared in Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. As a well-known singer, she has also recorded songs and plays. As an activist, she strives in the cause of LGBT equality.

Trevor Morris who is an SCDC prison inmate got stabbed to death in a fight with another prisoner. Trevor Morris has served 10 years in prison. He was stabbed to death and the crime occurred in the South Carolina Department of Corrections in Columbia, South Carolina.
